I met mine at work & we knew each other for a few yrs before a friend pushed us together...both in diff jobs tho.

We met in person at the Wellington war memorial opposite the train station.
We'd been chatting online via Xtra Chat for a few months before then.

At Uni. I was the noisy person downstairs. Our radiators could be used like intercoms the way they transmitted sound.
ETA laughing and talking sounds. Just realised how that sounded.

Well where we met and how we ended up together are two very different stories! DP and I first met at kindy, we were actually sort of friends
We would still talk at primary school, I still remember standing at the top of the big slide discussing animorphs books because he had an animorphs t shirt lol.
We then went on to separate intermediates and colleges, but then one day a friend of mine invited me over to her house where she had one of her exes staying the night. She had invited him over for her actually, but I ended up making out with him all night. (Funnily enough we're no longer friends) Then when we got around to talking we realised that yes, I was THAT Jamie, and yes, he is in fact THAT Sean! 
We've been together for 3 years in September

Haha Kiwi2 that's pretty cool, I met dp on the year 9 orientation camp!  About... 6.5 years ago but we've only been dating for umm 3.5 years!

At youthline, we were doing a self development course he was still at school I had just finished school. I was doing it cos I thought hell its better then sitting on my ass all day everyday and he jumped in the van with all the other guys just because they were going.
I apparently snapped him out when he was saying something about me being flexible in one of "those" sorts of ways lol. I wasn't interested in him for quite awhile we only got together because my brother and I got into a fight and he was being nice to me and comforting me. Before that though he had tried all the lines in the book and I had ignored him

DS's dad I met at work, he was a in grovery, and I was a deli chick...
DP and daddy of Jae and this baby coming I met through NZDating, we started going out 5 years ago next month... man that went so fast, I've been with him longer than i was to the man I married to!

DS1's father - met thru a friend - I no longer see either of them and don't want to.
Other Two - I was a recruitment consultant and he came in for a job interview... he walked into my office and I remember thinking that I was going to marry him (this was before we even spoke)... he got the temp job too!! We've been together for nearly 11years.

I never really 'met' him until we had finished school and met through a mutual friend at the beach.
