I've known DH all my life. We grew up i the same church but we never hang out or spoke. One day about 6 years ago his best mates mum told him I was a nice girl *cough cough* and his mate gave me DH's number at a concert and here we are now. Romantic I know.

DH was best man and I was bridesmaid at my sisters wedding. How cheesy is that? lol. He wasn't my usual type so didn't really go there till got a bit drunk at new years, just before I moved city. Then, we kept in contact with me when I moved, asked me to meet him in the middle of the island one weekend and thought I would as had nothing else to do. After that he drove from Wellington to Hamilton at least once a month until he moved here 8 months later. We have been together for 5 1/2 yrs and married for nearly 3 yrs.

with my babys daddy ( who is a d**k and we havent been together since i found out i was pregnant) It was a few of years ago when bebo was cool and i had this random friend request from someone i didnt know (him ) i asked him how he knew me and he said he didnt know me but thought my pics were cute so he added me lol , we were both from christchurch but living in aussie at the time, i was all naieve and flatterd at this , we spoke via bebo for a while then we started txting and he kept wanting to meet me but i was doubtful so kept sayig no then we didnt talk for like a year and one night i was out in town in christchurch after returning from my big O.E and i recognized him from his bebo pics , we started talking and he had just broken up with his gf at the time and we started seeihg each other shortly after that night , on and off and very shakey till i got pregnant , then we broke up . lol it prob would have been a cute story if we had stayed together lol

My current partner and i just met through friends , nothing too exciting lol .

I first meet my Dh at his step fathers funeral, I was only 15 and was helping my mum with the catering and serving.  He was really drunk and slapped me on the behind and said "I'll see you later"  I freaked out and went a hid in the kitchen and refused to serve food.  He was in town for the week and everywhere I seemed to go he was there.  I thought he was stalking me.  I told my deli workmate at the time and she just laughed as it turned out he was her DH's best friend.

Anyway he went back down south and a few years later moved back with his girlfriend.  He was good friends with my brother and father through sailing and diving so they became family friends.

I was away working on the crusie ships and I get a call from my mother and the first thing she said was Conrad and Sue have broken up, what do you think of him, do you like him and she kept going on about in.  By the end of the conversation I said to her OK will this keep you happy?  "I'll come back in Dec, we'll have a Jan Wedding and I'll get preganat in Feb and have a Oct baby.  Does that work for you?? Oh and don't forget to tell Conrad we are engaged and the plans." 

Well when I did get back in Dec it seemed to be the joke around town, that Conrad and I were enegaged (even though he was dating someone else).  We spent a bit of time together but didn't get together till just before my 24th birthday June the following year 2005.  Built a house 03/06, got engaged Xmas eve 06, Married 01/03/08, preg 06/08, first baby 09/04/09.

So that is our massive love story.  I married my stalker .

We met through work (seems like lots of us have!) - we never actually met, we talked on the phone for ages before we actually got the courage up to meet in bar. I was working part time and at Uni, so met him straight from Uni - and I had on my "uni" clothes...he can still remember exactly what I was wearing!

We have been together 12 years! Married for 9!

DH was friends with my boss and used to pop by work all the time. It wasn't till about 6 months later at our work function at the boxing day races that we got drunk and hooked up.

We have been married 6 months and will have been together 5 years at the end of the year.

we met at the pub!!  lol, sad but true!

Flatmates here. I had already arranged to move into the house and he moved in as well as we needed the other room filled and I was living with his brother and now ex SIL. We hit off pretty much straight away and we ended up leaving the house not talking to his brother and we took a flatmate with us.

DH also went to school with a group of people I knew and I to this day have no idea how we didn't meet earlier, as I had done a few of his friends in that group.
