I recommend pacing yourself.

I hope you get pg really quickly but its likely it will take a few months at least. In my journey for ttc#1 I got pg five times (miscarried 4 x) and most of those times we only BD once or twice around my fertile time. A lot of the time if you don't get up the duff its because the egg wasn't up to scratch and it doesn't matter how much sperm you shower on it, it won't make any difference.

I think guys often feel pressured to perform and I know my DH got really stressed and turned off by knowing he had to ejaculate or else miss another chance for a baby.

I found the longer you ttc the harder it is to keep things fun and lusty (we ttc'd for almost two and a half years). We dealt with it by making sure we had fun, non-pressured sex at non-fertile times of the month.

Good luck!!

Good Advice Vanillabean, I keep saying to DF that it'll happen straight away (only because everyone in my family is SUPER firtile).... he keeps reminding me it may not happen straight away. We'v just set a date for my IUD to come out and we'll just stop 'not trying', not sure how long we'll give it before we start charting etc.....

I know a bit about infertility as i'm adopted, to a couple that couldn't have their own children, i was super lucky that they adopted myself and my full blooded sister, and we kept in contact with my birth family which just means i have a HUGE family to contend with

well done on your little one to Vanillabean makes them all a bit more special.
