That the cyst is probably a corpus lupus cyst and should be fine. It is not actually attached to my overy, so shouldn't be a problem. I will have a follow up scan in the first week of October, and make any decisions after that, if there has been any observable changes. Its about 5cm in size at the moment.

I'm going to have blood taken today and on Wednesday to check hCG levels are roughly doubling, and then its wait and see.

Very relieved! If the cyst changes much in the next couple of weeks (as seen at the next scan) we'll probably have to keep a close eye on it, as I had a cyst in one breast a few years ago that grew from about pea sized to 24mm x 46mm in 11 months.
