Hi all, I have a couple of questions, both on sleeping but not really related to each other!
1. I keep reading about not using fleece on my baby's bed as it doesn't breathe, but we have been given several sleeping bags with a cotton/flannelette inner and a micro-fleece outer. They do look snug and warm but are they ok to use? I've seen so many fleecy ones for sale. We cant afford merino at the moment, so are waiting and hoping we win baby of the day! But in the meantime...?
2. DD is 8 months old and recently has been refusing a morning sleep. She is quite happy sitting playing at the moment but every so often gives me all the tired signs. She has never been a big day time sleeper (either length, frequency or enthusiasm) and doesnt usually suffer too much, but she is getting really overtired by evening. Do I need to re-jiggle her routine? She has been having one sleep in the morning and one after lunch most days, and a third nap later afternoon if needed. These sleeps are usually 30-50 minutes in the morning and 1-2 hours in the afternoon. Maybe I need to give her a nap late morning rather than mid morning, but then that goes into lunch time so she doesnt eat till late. OK, maybe I need support rather than answers here, I know I just need to try and see what works for my little monkey. Enough worry, I'm going back to play with her and her favourite toy at the moment - a cardboard box with a hole in for fishing out toys from. I never knew a box could be so much fun

I'm sure once she starts crawling / walking she will be getting more tired and should sleep better. At least thats what I'm hoping!!
Thanks
