Okay, the news isn't that good. The baby has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Because of her age she has a 50/50 chance. She will be having a blood transfusion then starting chemo.
She still has a chance and that's the one thing you have to hold onto, I will be crossing everything that it all turns out good!!! Thanks for letting us know.
Oh what a horrible thing to happen, I hate to hear about any wee ones being so sick its just so unfair and am really just sitting here I will be thinking of the wee girl and wishing for the best she just has to pull through for her sister and family.
That's a 50% chance of a full recovery too! I would take those odds and beat 'em! Love and prayers to her and the family, can't think of my 4 month old being in that situation.
I'm always amazed at how strong these little ones are. Tell the family to use all the facilities that are available to them, and get all the support they can.
Come on little one, show them all how strong you are xoxo
A very lucky mummy to two gorgeous boys:

The baby started chemo on Saturday and seems to be coping well with it. They were originally told she would be spending two months straight in starship then depending on how things are going may be able to go home periodically. Now they may be allowed to spend some nights at Ronald Mcdonald house! Looking good!!
