No issues with day sleep here Shirena. She is a gem during the day - sleeps 2 hours each time, feeds great, plays well, is happy etc. She hardly cries.

Deb - Andrew's weight is genetics - he can't help it. We are not slim because we under eat.   He has good man sized meals + 8 slices of bread a day etc etc. I quite honestly don't know another female who eats as much as I do - just ask any of my close friends.

We spoke to the doc about silent reflux before her immunisations but they really don't think she has it. They are usually very quick to try losec if reflux is a possibility but in our case the only issue is the night waking.

Oh yeah - and I do take the iron with some juice + the one I take as vit C in it. I've just started on it as I thought it might come up on it's own once Ashley was born. I've got a form to have a test done to monitor it - just have to get there.

As for naps, no I don't get any. By the time I get Elle to kindy and settled in, it is time to feed Ashley and then it is time get back to get Elle. I was hoping for some breaks during the kindy break but my PIL have gone overseas for the entire 2 weeks so no go there. Elle still needs a nap but won't take one. She has a rest on the couch with a DVD and I sit with her but can't nap as she is always asking me things etc.

If you are still anemic but taking a supplement would you consider liquid iron that is more 'bioavailable' ie: more effectively absorbed, like Spatone or Floradix?

You should try molasses and milk. That is what I did when I had low iron during my pregnancy and it caused my iron levels to rocket!
It tastes good too.

Much better night last night so I'm pleased about that. Doc thinks the viral rash may have been the START of a virus not the end of one so she should return to the good night sleep again.

She is SO wonderful during the day - the sweetest thing - so gentle and happy so I think I'll just roll with the nights and concentrate on enjoying her.

Well hope it works out hun I'm the same I eat really well but have super-thin blood which combined with not enough sleep has me dizzy and fainting heaps too PITA ae?!
Could you set Elle up in her room with a dvd and tell her its ok if she doesn't sleep but its quiet time and get some sleep that way? She might take a few days to settle but it'd be alot better for your health to get that nap!
Anyway GL
