Building a list of what to buy for first

Oh a few more things that I've thought of!

Definitely the Snap n Go Wheels - we just clicked in the capsule and off we go - we also have a Mountain Buggy and this only gets used for walks (will become the main pram in a month or so, when DS is out of the capsule).

Capsule with base - I have loved this! No need to worry about wrapping the seatbelt up (esp if it is raining) - just click it on the base and all done.

i havent read much of the other sutff.... but....

- a capsule with a base (leave the base in your car and no problems fiddling with the seatbelt (new - or hired) (most baby stores hire them out, as do plunket)

- a playgym with the hanging toys (and space to add more, or take them off) that can be easily washed. one that converts for tummy time is great (2nd hand is fine, just wash it first)

- we have a jolly jumper and an exersaucer (were given the JJ and the exersaucer was REALLy cehap 2nd hand off trade me) and our boy has amazing head control and loves them! perfect if you trying to make lunch or need a shower

- dont worry about "clothes" for NBs - but defo reccommend the all-in-ones/growsuits with feet, and fold over cuffs. Kmart is really good for cheap ones - they grow out of them so quickly!

- a sling or wrap (i have a moby a LOVE it) fantastic if you are going somewhere its hard to get a pram around (shopping) or if you dont have much time

- we have only used our baby bath once - either me or DP just takes him into the shower with us

- a quick read digital thermometer (for baby)

- some lightweight (muslin is good) wraps and some heavyweight wraps (merino is fantastic)
