I come from a family of four and we lacked for nothing as we had our parents love were clothed and fed. We didnt know as kids anything other then hand me downs lol as we got all our clothes from cousins and they were both girls and I have only brothers. The only thing I remember getting really upset about and finding it hard was the car I was always made to sit in the middle seat lol and we are all 2yrs apart also

Go the people mover! Fortunately for us, we had upgraded to a people mover when the gremlins arrived, so the car dilemma wasn't a big deal.

I'm glad to hear your hubby has come round, it sure took mine a few days (or if I'm completely honest, months!). Like you, baby #4 wasn't on the cards, we had decided we would have another, but we were planning for a few years down the track when we got a big surprise.

I guess what helped was taking the "what will be will be" approach, after all, you can't really change the situation (barring termination of course, which was never an option for us, and sounds like you are the same), so you might as well get on with it.

I found being pregnant with two toddlers and a preschooler much harder than having a newborn plus the rest, mostly coz I have awful pregnancies, but honestly, once she was out, she's just slotted in and goes where we go etc. She is a funny little thing, she literally flew into the world a hundred miles an hour and hasn't stopped since, she tackles everything head on,which may be a result of being the youngest of 4 - she has to fight to make herself heard. She is pretty feisty too, doesn't let the others boss her around much.

Best of luck over the coming months, you will be fine, and hubby will get better with the idea as time goes on - looking at Willie with lil miss these days it's hard to believe he didn't want her at all to start with, they have a really special bond.

If you need any help with practical stuff, let me know

To be honest, Hubby has gotten over the shock a lot better than me now.
I am still having issues with coming to grips with the whole thing.
I have been reall tired & preggy sickness has arrived & I have been super emotional (moving house right now probably doesn't help!) and yet I don't "feel" pregnant. Probably doesn't make sense but I don't feel anything there. Maybe it will be more real when I have my scan on wednesday?

Hubby is currently looking at getting another seat added to our car so we don't have to sell his baby.
He outright refuses to have a people mover, he said he would rather be on his motorbike behind us in teh pouring down rain than been seen dead in a people mover.
House at thi stage shouldn't be a problem as new place is a 4 bedroom house.

What else do I need to be thinking about??

I only have 2 but I have a friend who is married and 25yrs old. She has a 2 year old and a 4 year old and she just gave birth to twins. They only wanted 3 so finding out their 3rd was also a fourth was a shock but her twins have been home for a week and she is loving ever minute.
At least you have lovely short spaces between yours chic that way you get it all out of the way nice an early I am one of 4 girls but my sisters are all 15,13 & 11 years older than me so my poor parents were just getting their freedom back when I came along

Now THAT is my biggest fear Lisa! Getting the kids out of the house and having another surprise!
