DS did this when we changed him to a big bed a couple of weeks ago. He would get up, run around, open cupboards, play and chat to himself. At first we would go in and he would run and jump up on his bed when we opened the door and laugh thinking it was a fun game. Our solution? Let him play/sing/chat if he wanted to. He could climb in and out easily and so long as he wasnt upset we just left him to it, he would eventually hop into bed and go to sleep.. It took a couple of nights for the novelty to wear off and now he just goes to sleep after chatting to himself for about 15 mins.
Are you able to just leave her to it and only go in if she gets upset. At the moment she knows you are coming in and she probably likes to see you
