Topic: dont know what to do Posted: 04 August 2007 at 3:10pm |
Oh my god, ive turned into the phycio bitch from hell, you only have to look at me and it sets me off...
I was never like this with my first pregnancy and i dont know how to handle it...i have even got to the point were i almost packed my bags and went to stay with mum and dad for the night...but would much rather Kent and Rhiannon left so i could have the house to myself.
I feel so horrid, yet i dont know how to tell Kent how im feeling, its hard enough with him constantly going on and on and bloody on about not getting any special cuddles...and i think thats my main problem is he is making me feel like im being a useless wife cos im not putting out at the moment, but i dont know how to tell him i dont want him touching me without hurting him...arrggghhh

I think i remember being like that too in the first stages lol.
Of course i didnt actually know i was pregnant at the time.
My ex was always asking me why i was in such a foul mood. I treated him pretty badly sometimes too. Felt bad afterwards of course but now i think he deserved it hehe.
He just put up with me somehow.. also, i was the opposite and was the one wanting him to put out all the time lmao. Course he never said no seeing as he is a bloody male after all. Heheh.
Sorry im not much help at all. Im crap with this sort of thing seeing as im not married or even in a relationship. Plus all my relationships turned out sh*t in the end lol.

I was the same and turned back that way at the end too. Maybe just try and explain you are feeling like crap so he doesn't expect too much from you. Or seeing if he could take rhiannon out on the weekend so you can have time by yourself.
Ooo maybe your having a boy?

hi...i was exacly the same... till about 8/9 weeks i was a cow...I don't know how he put up with me...he started off going on about not getting any but when we talked about why and stuff since then he has been really good.. which is great even though he used to make stupid jokes that I don't find funny!
Nothing I did made me any better mood wise except eating and sleeping I can only imagine how hard it is with another child too..rest assured you are not alone:) I am 13 weeks now and am in a much better mood most of the time provided I get enough sleep... once I spoke to DH about how what he said made me feel he did stop it..so that was great...and only occassionaly let me have it when i was being a total cow...!

Just cos Kaz said it wasn't like this when she was preggy with Rhinanion.
I think it is a phase, I went through it but once it passed and I was the one wanting it all the time I remembered what I did to him and got over it. I did do the little nagging thing for a bit but it soon all passed.

Big hugs, chic, sorry to say I was like this my whole pregnancy with char, and am still off "special cuddles". My OB/GYN said my "psychosis" was because was becasue I was probably pregnant with a girl (and I was, but hadn't told her, and it wasn't in my file as the sex scan was a shifty one organised by the hospice) and the extra oestrogen was making me nuts, kinda like how I get on the pill but WORSE!! Things seem more pronounced with each pregnancy I am told, so big big hugs and if it continues, I'm betting GIRL!!

I was just about to suggest you talk to annie (fattartsrock) about it but I see she got in there first Hugs Kazzle, hope you feel better soon. Oh yeah tell Dh to go suck eggs, pressuring isn't going to suddently make you feel like "doing it" Typical man, mine is no different

I totally understand what you're saying kazzle, I was exactly the same in the first trimester. MS & pg hormones made me not want to be touched by anyone! Dh would try & cuddle me & I couldn't wait to get away!! And I was pretty grumpy too, but was pretty darn sick!
You'll get through this phase & I'm sure your Dh will forget all about it. Just let him know how you're feeling, even if he doesn't seem to understand, its better than not telling him at all.
Men can go a bit silly themselves when they're not getting any .

Hi Kazzle I don't have any words of wisdom sorry but if it helps I was also very moody first trimester (mainly weepy but I did throw things too ) and then a week ago I got a bad bout of hormones and was very depressed and weepy and couldn't cope with anything. From what I understand it's very normal.
For what it's worth I think starting this thread is a good thing. Being able to share with others helps heaps.

I was totally like this but didn't have a partner so my poor flatmate took the brunt of it. Actually, I was like that with my second pregnancy too, right from the start. I was sooooo close to kicking the crap out of Zeke every time he opened his mouth. Ohhh I'm so sweet.
Hate to think what'll happen next time... Maybe I'll just put in a disclaimer.
Hope it passes soon babe
