This morning DH and I went to our 12 week scan, only to be told we are having TWINS !!!

So I have gone from taking 18 ish months to fall pregnant, to having an instant family.

Now What........ I need help. I think I am still in shock to be honest!

Oh wow Oh wow. That is amazing. So when does that make you due? How long have you got to get used to the idea?

PS It's very exciting and if you were anywhere close to Palmy (which I don't think you are), I'd be nuttily clucky around you!

Congratulations! The same thing happened to my girlfriend - she took ages to get preggers & then ended up with twins too. You'll be fine. It will take a while to set in, but as she said when you have twins on your first go you don't know any better so it's just normal!

Congrats, that would be a huge surprise. But talk with Emma she went through it last year. My nana had twins and we are yet to have someone have them in my generation.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Wow congratulations, at least oyu found out now, i know some people who thought htere was only the one and out popped 2 hehe.
I think you can get help when you have multiples (not 100% you may have to ask Emma on that one).
We have twins on both mine and DFs side of the family so we were very suprised we havent produced any yet, my sister may be the lucky one (if she ever has kiddlets).

Crikey! What an amazing thing to discover - a shock I am sure, but it will be great once the shock wears off. Congrats!

Now if I were you I would be checking out all entitlements that are available (home help and stuff liket hat). I would also rethink my finish work date as chances are they could come early, and you will be exhausted as you get bigger!

Good luck!

I already am exhausted !!!! I know this is going to be a pretty crazy time over the next few years, but I really am excited and scared all at the same time.

Twins are in My Family, dad has twin older brothers, although I understand that twins aren't genetic... if that's the right word..... Woo Hoo at least the Grandies to be are happy to help out!
