Congrats!
Well I can't say for sure or not if it's 100% safe. but I watched all three of my sisters go through a combined total of 8 births while continuing to dye their hair and all babies were as healthy as can be I myself had mine taken from blonde to brunette towards the end of my pregnancy.
If in doubt check with your midwive

Tell your hairdresser that you're pregnant - mine was happy to do it but insisted on doing a patch test first (you go on and she puts a little bit of dye behind your ear or somewhere else it won't be seen and you wait for 24 hours to see if you have any reaction). That's because during pregnancy you can react differently to chemicals that you normally would as a result of all the hormones (according to my hairdresser anyway!).

I don't know if it is but I still dyed my hair with all my pregnancies & had no probs...only thing I watched was creams I used on my skin.

My friend is a hairdresser and she said these days (with modern colouring solutions) it's fine. She continued working through her pregnancy and her daughter is perfectly fine. I also had my hair coloured through my pregnancy with no issues.

I died my hair when 8 weeks pregnant.
got a chocolate base put in, and 3 colours of foils.
none of it worked, it all fell out.
it lasted a max of 3 weeks vs it usually lasting months and months until My regrowth got to be 5cm long.
My hair also became even more dry and frizzy than it usually is.
I ended up wasting $200 and still having bad patchy grey hair.
