I died my hair when 8 weeks pregnant.
got a chocolate base put in, and 3 colours of foils.

none of it worked, it all fell out.
it lasted a max of 3 weeks vs it usually lasting months and months until My regrowth got to be 5cm long.
My hair also became even more dry and frizzy than it usually is.

I ended up wasting $200 and still having bad patchy grey hair.

My friend is a hairdresser and she said these days (with modern colouring solutions) it's fine. She continued working through her pregnancy and her daughter is perfectly fine. Tell your hairdresser that you're pregnant - mine was happy to do it but insisted on doing a patch test first (you go on and she puts a little bit of dye behind your ear or somewhere else it won't be seen and you wait for 24 hours to see if you have any reaction). Congrats!

Well I can't say for sure or not if it's 100% safe. but I watched all three of my sisters go through a combined total of 8 births while continuing to dye their hair and all babies were as healthy as can be I myself had mine taken from blonde to brunette towards the end of my pregnancy.
