Is there anything us pregnant ladies can take for hayfever? Chemist refuses to give me an advice apart from see the doctor which I will anyway. But just wondering.......sneezing, watery eyes, hives :(

I think there are nasal sprays you can use, I used Alanase if I can remember correctly. I got some tissue salts for hayfever from the health shop too, but towards the end my MW said I could use loratadine (claratyne)

I used nasal sprays - Alanase (confirmed by pharmacist and doctor). You can take Zyrtec when breastfeeding but I guess not when pregnant? Call your midwife or the nurse at the doctors, that way you won't have to pay

My GP prescribed me polaramine, but it cant be used in the last trimester. I am a bit paranoid about taking any meds while pregnant so I have only taken it once when I was really suffering.
