| Is there anything us pregnant ladies can take for hayfever? Chemist refuses to give me an advice apart from see the doctor which I will anyway. But just wondering.......sneezing, watery eyes, hives :( |

I think there are nasal sprays you can use, I used Alanase if I can remember correctly. I got some tissue salts for hayfever from the health shop too, but towards the end my MW said I could use loratadine (claratyne) ------------- Lisa mummy to Ryan http://www.alterna-tickers.com">

I used nasal sprays - Alanase (confirmed by pharmacist and doctor). You can take Zyrtec when breastfeeding but I guess not when pregnant? Call your midwife or the nurse at the doctors, that way you won't have to pay  ------------- http://lilypie.com">

My GP prescribed me polaramine, but it cant be used in the last trimester. I am a bit paranoid about taking any meds while pregnant so I have only taken it once when I was really suffering.
