Hey there I'm hoping someone can help/reassure me.
We've always had a bit of trouble breastfeeding my 7 month old.
Currently she has a bottle in the afternoon to give me a break. Her first feed in the morning goes really well but the last few days the other breastfeeds have been a complete battle. She won't latch and when she does she often won't suck long enough for a let down.
Part of me worries it could be my supply but there is no reason I can think of that it would have been effected lately. She is on solids three times a day and has heaps of them, so aprt of me thinks "well maybe she's just more interested in solids now"- but then I worry because on my plunket sheet it says that breastmilk is still the most important food and should be offered first.
Am i just worrying too much? Should I keep pushing the breastfeeds, or just offer and not worry if she refuses? TIA
