Wow, how cozy!!!
We did our wrap backwards so instead of laying her on the blanket before wrapping her.... we lay her down and then put the blanket on her tummy tight upto her chin then as she got a bit bigger, we wrapped her the way they did with the baby on the YouTube Video

Yeah I like the way it covers babys head, I wish id known about this when I first had caden.
Caden likes being swaddled, it calms him down really well because he feels secure.

Blimmin MWs, they always make it look easy and I always feel stoopid cos I can't get it right! I kindof do the first part (well, not the legs, but I'll start doing that cos his legs are getting cold and he kicks all the blankets off!).

Flissty dont worry it took me ages to figure out how to swaddle properly hehe
I would do it too lose and caden would escape, but cos he is so damn strong I have learnt how to swaddle tight and now he stays put lol.
I swaddle like This
Ignore the rest of the video lol, the way she swaddles is how I swaddle, it works well on cadens strong little limbs!

Caden knows as soon as I swaddle him that he is going to bed and he goes quiet and calm(usually).

Daniel is the same - he can be crying (and often cries while being swaddled) but as soon as it's done, he gets really calm and quiet.

we also swaddle, but with one arm up, as she just won't settle unless she has a hand touching her head! the funny thing about the second video, having also watched the 'dunstan baby language' video today, is that the crying baby sounds very hungry! lol

I have to ask ... how long did you guys swaddle for. It was great in the beginning, now I'm getting nervous about stopping it and now Lincoln will cope. On the odd time I've not swaddled we have a crying fit that goes on forever and if he does sleep it's only for a short time. Ideas???

i was told that you should cover your babies head as this is how they loss their heat and learn to regulate their tempreture. Hmm maybe they were going outside or something.
I wrap but he doesn't ike it. He likes to sleep with his hand up by his face or in his mouth.

Have you seen these? I used one for Cooper and they were fantastic!
Miracle Blanket
As they get older you can leave their feet out if you want too.
