Topic: Foxybots one-size AIOs! Posted: 04 June 2008 at 1:15pm |
Trudie just allerted me to the new one-size AIO's on the Foxybots website! These look sooooo cool!

I think I'll definitely have to try one when they arrive - depending on cost of course
One thought though (that I'm sure Stacey can answer) - what happens to the size of the insert when the outer is snapped down to a small size? How does the length of the insert fit both a small & large size nappy?

I was wondering how they work being a one size as well. But they do look great... I think I will be trying one!

It snaps out to be quite a big nappy so he might fit it

I haven't actually worked this out yet but probably around $35 which is pretty comparable with other AIO's out there

There's 2 sets of soakers. One for NB/S/M and another larger set for M/L/XL just to make sure it fits really nicely and stays trim. You can use the larger set for the smaller sizes but that means folding them over which makes the nappy more bulky but it does work.
I didn't expect to come home and there be a thread about them

Oooh, it looks really trim Stacey! What setting is Daniel wearing it on? It looks quite low-rise?

It should look trim considering how long I've been thinking/trialing these trying to make them trim and workable - I think from memory in that photo he was on the medium/large setting

No one has both as I haven't got them for sale yet. There are a lot of differences between them though

Stinky. I've been playing/designing/testing etc the idea of a one size AIO for 6ish months.
I wanted to have a double row of snaps (like my pocket naps) which made the wing part and therefore the overall look of the nappy very different but I just ran into a wing droop issue and then one of my testers suggested 1 row and that got rid of the issue. But I have had an idea of how to fix that wing droop issue with the double row so in all likelihood it will probably change back to a double row after I've retested again to make sure it does fix it. I don't want it to look like a dlish at all.
Typical that I get a brain wave whilst sick lol. Once that's done and it works *fingers crossed* I'll have to update the photo

If you're after constructive criticism, it's the color coded snaps that did it for me coz the only other nap I've ever seen them on is the Bitti D'lish. Not that they aren't a great idea!

I admit I saw that and liked it.. with one of my testers I gave her two naps, one with colour coded and one without and she got confused with the one without colour coding lol - she is a family member who had never tried cloth before hehe that's why I went with it.
