Last time:
I stopped work at midday when I was 39+2 (was meant to work through to 4:30pm but was in labour so went home).
I was in customer services working as a temp project manager and complaints officer.
I took 5 months off.
This time:
I plan to finish at Queens Birthday weekend (will be nearly 37 wks).
I work for the same company but do tech support now.
I plan to take just over a year off and then return part time.

For Andrew
1. When are you finishing work? I finished at 36 weeks which was good timing as I was in hospital at 36+3 until he was born at 39 weeks 2. What sort of job do you do? I was doing a sit down job on the phone (018) 3. How long are you taking off? I was back as a casual at 3 months and then fulltime at 5 months at a different job.
For Josh:
1. When are you finishing work? 34 weeks (I took extra leave) 2. What sort of job do you do? I was working at a pool doing admin work so there was a bit of walking 3. How long are you taking off? I took 20 months off work (went back fulltime October this year) but returned to fulltime study when Josh was 5 months old.

Last time:
1. Planned to finish at 37.5 weeks but went into labour at 32 weeks and spent the rest of my pregnancy on bedrest (after 5 days of drugs to stop the labour).
2. Food Technologist
3. I went back to work when Jake was almost 10 months, so had almost a year off in total. (planned to go back when he was 1, but got offered a contract where the money was too good to refuse!)
This time:
1. Will work as long as I can - probably finish between 32-36 weeks depending on whether I have complications again, and how much work I have.
2. Contract Food Technologist - working 3 days/wk.
3. Not sure - will hopefully go back when bub is between 9-12 months, but hopefully not full time.
