Last time:
1. Planned to finish at 37.5 weeks but went into labour at 32 weeks and spent the rest of my pregnancy on bedrest (after 5 days of drugs to stop the labour).
2. Food Technologist
3. I went back to work when Jake was almost 10 months, so had almost a year off in total. (planned to go back when he was 1, but got offered a contract where the money was too good to refuse!)

This time:
1. Will work as long as I can - probably finish between 32-36 weeks depending on whether I have complications again, and how much work I have.
2. Contract Food Technologist - working 3 days/wk.
3. Not sure - will hopefully go back when bub is between 9-12 months, but hopefully not full time.

I finished on Monday (at 32 weeks) but am going back for first week of Jan to train my replacement.

Office job (office manager)

Not going back there - have resigned. Wasn't entitled to maternity leave anyway and it's a 50 minute drive each way. So if and when I do go back to work it'll be closer to home.

We're also considering DH being a stay at home dad if/when I do go back.

We (DH and I) are self employed so I don't really get to finish work although I have scaled back how much I do each day and if I don't feel like doing anything then I make DH do it! :D jeez I love that man!

I am a sheep & beef farmer primarily, although I also do a bit of p/t work for a caterer friend (if she finds jobs for me where I can sit down most of the time) & I also grow veges & herbs to sell to her.

As I qualify for PPL I can do admin type work for our business over that time but baby & I will be back out on the farm as and when it is necessary which could be sped up with the possible purchase of the farm next door.

Last time
I finished work about 7.5 months
I worked as a Science technician at a school
I didn't go back. Started part time work cleaning when DD was 10 months

This time
Will have to see how I go. Still very early days lol
I work as a Pharmacy Assistant. So on my feel ALL day. I work full time 8.30-5 and every second Saturday morning.
I'd prefer at least 6 months or even a year. It would depend on family finances and how everything is going though.

OO I'll join in even though not pregnnt...YET!

With Rhyley:

1. When are you finishing work? I finished at 34 weeks - was planning to go till 38 weeks but got GD and felt I needed that extra at home - and he was born at 39 weeks
2. What sort of job do you do? I work in a bank - on feet alot
3. How long are you taking off? I ook almost 1 year off - left full time and took up position part time when went back

With the next one I am hoping to be able to work till 37 weeks all going good... being part time 3 days a week I don't think it will be as hard to do... I think
