I just need a place to vent, let off a little steam... we arent TTC but I am dying to have a second child.

Its not the right time (we've just moved country, started a new job and only have one income)... but my biological clock doesnt listen so well.

Worse is that DH is pretty happy just having 1 child. I wanted 4... how is 1 a compromise?

Gah!!!

How to get the cluckiness to go away!

You could come over to the waiting to TTC thread!
There are a few of us feeling like you do, wanting a child but not quite ready for one reason or another!

We're hoping he wont be a SAHD for too long - he has applied to join the police but its a long process.

I've stopped talking about it because he makes jokes and its stopped being funny already

It took us 2 years to get pregnant with Isabella so even if I did convince him there's a strong possibility it'd be a long wait.

I can't wait to have #2...but not the right timing for us as well. DP works, I'm studying...and will be for the next 3 years....he said we can start when I'm in my last year of study....so 2 years....my biological clock isn't ticking......well i've just turned 24 so if anyone says that it is I'll punch them!! lolz. But really miss the experience of pregnancy and all. You're just like me...want to have 4 kids (maybe more hehe) where as DP would settle for 1 or 2....not an option I'm sorry!!. Anywhos I'm convincing myself that I can study with a new born.......and am planning in my mind to TTC end of next year.........wanna lose weight first...and then have bubs near the end of year 2......or in Year 3 sometime....Now just have to convince DP!

Good luck - with losing weight and with convincing DH!

I am so hoping he will change his mind and that we'll be in a better financial position mid to end next year and would then be able to start trying for a second
