Ive noticed Ava has a constantly white tongue. She is breastfed. Is this normal? she has alot of saliva in her mouth so i thought if it was milk it would go, but it doesnt. it isnt anywhere else on her mouth.

my midwife said that that is a symtom of thrush. so mayb get it checked? i dont no anything about thrush on babies except that though but i think it easily treated

does it wipe off with a bit of muslin cloth? if not, then could be thrush.

My DD1 had that too - and it is a symptom of thrush. You need to get onto your mw smart. All the best.

Nope it doesnt wipe off or scrape off (yep ive gotten in there with my fingernail eeeek).

Yep with the rest of them thrush, so you will need something for her and your nipples as well. A trip to the dr tomorrow is in order for you.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
