Toothpaste. I was brushing my teeth 10+ times a day, and pretty much just eating the toothpaste by itself!

Oh and hot chips with loads of salt!

Congratulations!!!!

Andrew it was doughnuts covered in icing sugar filled with cream and the little dob of jam on the top (I ate far to many of these, like 3-5 a day) and Oreo Cookies.

Josh it was salt - anything and everything had salt on it, I even put extra on stuff that already had salt on it.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!

I don't usually eat alot of chocolate but I had to have chocolate every day.

I also craved apples and I don't really like apples. Infact before I got pregnant, I can't remember the last time I had an apple.
I guess it helped cancel out the chocolate though lol!

Toasted cheese sandwiches and if I am feeling a bit icky, Milo.

My big craving is mayo, my MIL is under strict instructions that when she comes to the hospital after baby is born she must bring a ham and mayo sandwich. If she doesnt, she cant come in!!!!!! I have been craving McChicken burgers, but I know its really the mayo I want.

1st and 3rd babies:
Salt and vinegar chips and chippies
Salami
Basically anything vinegary and/or salty!
Icecream in last trimester

2nd baby:
Jam on toast. I had it for breakfast and lunch and went through a loaf of bread a day
Icecream

4th baby:
Vegies: pumpkin, kumara, spinach (raw whole spinach leaves by the half-dozen!!!)
Fruit

So bizarre - I'm actually craving healthy foods and it's weird!!!

Busymum, it will be interesting to see if it's a boy or a girl seeing your cravings are so different.

I wish I was craving healty food

I'm craving peanut slabs, Feta quiche, and buttered bread (SO bad). I do have cravings for fruit though so not all bad. I had a major craving for Merlot a few months back. It was so strong and couldn't be ignored. I poured a very small glass, drank half of it and tipped the rest down the sink. Haven't thought about it since thankfully!!

That is true, and we do think I have a boy, although since June this year I have been gluten-free (had an intolerance diagnosed) - so most of that other stuff would be out of bounds now anyway. The neat thing is that I haven't craved anything containing gluten!!

I am thirsty all the time too, now its getting warmer I can see myself going through a lot of frozen juice ice cubes. I did a tray last weekend and polished them off quite quickly. They were yummy!

For me it has to be chocolate milk!    I am getting through about a litre a week - that's restraining myself.

Also craved ice cream earlier on - particularly the really creamy naughty gourmet ones.
