Andrew it was doughnuts covered in icing sugar filled with cream and the little dob of jam on the top (I ate far to many of these, like 3-5 a day) and Oreo Cookies.
Josh it was salt - anything and everything had salt on it, I even put extra on stuff that already had salt on it.

Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!
I don't usually eat alot of chocolate but I had to have chocolate every day.
I also craved apples and I don't really like apples. Infact before I got pregnant, I can't remember the last time I had an apple.
I guess it helped cancel out the chocolate though lol!

Toasted cheese sandwiches and if I am feeling a bit icky, Milo.
My big craving is mayo, my MIL is under strict instructions that when she comes to the hospital after baby is born she must bring a ham and mayo sandwich. If she doesnt, she cant come in!!!!!! I have been craving McChicken burgers, but I know its really the mayo I want.

2nd baby:
Jam on toast. I had it for breakfast and lunch and went through a loaf of bread a day

Busymum, it will be interesting to see if it's a boy or a girl seeing your cravings are so different.
I wish I was craving healty food
I'm craving peanut slabs, Feta quiche, and buttered bread (SO bad). I do have cravings for fruit though so not all bad. I had a major craving for Merlot a few months back. It was so strong and couldn't be ignored. I poured a very small glass, drank half of it and tipped the rest down the sink. Haven't thought about it since thankfully!!

That is true, and we do think I have a boy, although since June this year I have been gluten-free (had an intolerance diagnosed) - so most of that other stuff would be out of bounds now anyway. The neat thing is that I haven't craved anything containing gluten!!

For me it has to be chocolate milk! I am getting through about a litre a week - that's restraining myself.
Also craved ice cream earlier on - particularly the really creamy naughty gourmet ones.

I have this too - for the whole pregnancy so far. Asked mw about it and she said a lot of women get extra saliva in their mouths so it's probably just a hormonal thing like that. One thing is good: it makes you drink plenty of water! (And then you'll have to set up camp in the loo )

It wasnt as bad second time round. First time DH had to ban me from going to the beach because I just couldnt help myself I really do miss my sand cravings, i used to have a bucket of sand just sitting on my deck when ever I needed it.
Surprisingly its not as uncommon as I thought. It was caused by lack of Iron, I had a friend who has never been pregnant but also gets really bad sand/rock cravings when they are really low in iron.
Other than that I craved vinegar and lemons.

i read in a magazine not long ago about a lady who craved sponges???? weird huh her DH used to go and buy her sea sponges and boil them so they were sterile and she ate them...cant think of anything worse but hey us preggy ladies do weird things all the time.
my friend craved wet dirt so much so that she used to lick the potataoes before she peeled them and she used to make her DP wet the garden at all the time just for the smell.
cant say ive craved anything major this pregnancy but with DS1 it was bananas and with DS2 it was pastry so i lived on pies bad bad mumma lol.

Meat roasted so much it was dry

Manderines
Oranges
lemon with salt

When I was pregnant with Michaela I initially lived on plain potatos, I'm not really sure if that's because I craved them or just because that's all I could stomach.
Later on I craved summer fruits (fresh nectarines, apricots and berries) and raw veges but I wouldn't eat a salad, the idea of mixing my veges together made me feel ill, so while DH had a yummy fresh tossed salad I would have little seperate piles of raw veges (lettuce, cucumber, carrots etc).
I had one unfulfilled craving which was crunchie icecream. I wanted it so much but when I was pregnant with Michaela they'd discontinued making them and there was no equivalent on the market.
This time around it's still early days and I haven't had any cravings, just food aversions (just thinking about chocolate, wine or coffee makes me feel sick).

With Ashlee, I went through dozens of oranges a week, and also loved crackers with cheese and pickles (I NEVER eat pickles!!!).
I have really bad food aversions at the moment. Fruit makes me feel better, but it's the act of eating it that I can't get past! So am having canned fruit chopped up into little pieces. Loving potatoes too, and anything salty or buttery. Popcorn is great!

i havent had any cravings at all, at the start i felt like McChickens all the time but never ate them, self control lol. Maccas now use 99% fat free mayo in everything and even there packets are 99% fat free, you dont get a choice any more and its gross!!!!!

I totally craved apple juice. Frozen cubes were my life saver as I was so sick the entire time.
Fresh fruit was also a big craving, and luckily I was preganant during summer so all the good stuff was available.
At one stage I was craving the bun, lettuce and dressing of McChicken burgers. Eugh!
Oh, and I loooooooooved the smell of DP's bourbon! Weird, as I can't bear the taste, and I didn't drink any, but I would always offer to pour him a drink so I could sniff the bottle
