MY EXCLUSIVELY BF 1 MONTH OLD DOES THE OCCASIONAL CHUNKY SPIT UP! IS THIS NORMAL? IT CAN BE QUITE A GOOD SPILL, WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE LUMPS/CHUNKS/FLAKES OF MILK IN IT!

ow, too early for yelling

How long after feeding are the spills occuring?
Is it a wee while afterwards? If so, it could be that the milk is partially curdled from the gastric juices?

I know Hannah used to spill some interesting looking stuff.
If it's only occasional and bubs seems fine, I wouldn't worry.
But if it's at most feeds and your baby seems to be in pain/discomfort, perhaps a trip to the GP to ease your mind?

*edited for spelling.

both my babies were spilling babies and depending on what i had eaten, it looked chunky sometimes and just milky other times............like mamapickle said, if bubs is ok about it then i wouldn't panic, but if there's discomfort that goes with it, then perhaps talk to your mw or gp

Could it be phlegmy(sp??) Maddi often gets really thick and lumpy sick up when she has a cold.
Other wise it soulds like it could just be slightly digested and curdled.
