MY EXCLUSIVELY BF 1 MONTH OLD DOES THE OCCASIONAL CHUNKY SPIT UP! IS THIS NORMAL? IT CAN BE QUITE A GOOD SPILL, WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE LUMPS/CHUNKS/FLAKES OF MILK IN IT!

How long after feeding are the spills occuring? Is it a wee while afterwards? If so, it could be that the milk is partially curdled from the gastric juices? I know Hannah used to spill some interesting looking stuff. If it's only occasional and bubs seems fine, I wouldn't worry. But if it's at most feeds and your baby seems to be in pain/discomfort, perhaps a trip to the GP to ease your mind? *edited for spelling. -------------

both my babies were spilling babies and depending on what i had eaten, it looked chunky sometimes and just milky other times............like mamapickle said, if bubs is ok about it then i wouldn't panic, but if there's discomfort that goes with it, then perhaps talk to your mw or gp ------------- http://www.alternatickers.com">

Could it be phlegmy(sp??) Maddi often gets really thick and lumpy sick up when she has a cold.
Other wise it soulds like it could just be slightly digested and curdled. -------------
