Lollipops of Chipmunks. Butterfly creek, Zoo. I think some plunket centres let you hire out their rooms for a small amount or you could ask at your local community centre. If her b/day is during summer you could have it at the beach or in a nice garden with a playground nearby.

See if your local playcentre will let you hire their rooms.

I was thinking the same

Have you got family that has a big house?? As her birthday is in January then you shouldn't need to worry about the weather and have it somewhere like a local park.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We had Charlotte's at the park in Devonport. We took a picnic and the kids could play to their hearts content while the adults caught up. The best thing was there was no real clean up afterwards. We even asked our families to bring a plate so we didn't have to spend a fortune and, of course, there ended up being masses of food!

Sorry about thread jacking, but for those of you who have used playcentre rooms, how much did it cost?
