We had Charlotte's at the park in Devonport. We took a picnic and the kids could play to their hearts content while the adults caught up. The best thing was there was no real clean up afterwards. Have you got family that has a big house?? As her birthday is in January then you shouldn't need to worry about the weather and have it somewhere like a local park.

Lollipops of Chipmunks. Butterfly creek, Zoo. I think some plunket centres let you hire out their rooms for a small amount or you could ask at your local community centre. Im a wee bit early as my daughter is only 7mths but starting to think about where we would have her first birthday! We would love to have it at home but our home isnt suitable for 17 children..So have been trying to think of venues in Auckland??

Any ideas mums??
