Topic: scared Posted: 28 July 2008 at 1:34pm |
well actually terrified, our last miscarriage was in april, we are officially ttcing this month (am on my tww), but i am scared of getting pregnant again...
And no matter how many people say to me "But why are you scared, you know what is wrong and have a action plan"...just doesnt help ya know!
I know i know whats wrong, I know that we have an action plan, but after 4 miscarriages in a row, i cant help but feel scare.
I also know that im probably going to feel like this until im actually pregnant and past my danger mark (11wks).
anyway thanks for letting me babble on

Good luck Kaz - totally understandable why you are scared - downright petrified would probably be how I would be feeling!
Fingers, toes, legs, arms and eyes all crossed for you!

I totally understand Kaz. Most people freak out within the first few months and you have more reasons to than most.
It's ok to be scared as long as you don't let that get in the way of doing what you want, and that's having another baby. Feel free to come on here and sound out your fears anytime.
BTW: My older sis had DS1 followed by 3 MCs, strict instructions not to TTC and an operation. The minute she was given the all clear she TTC'd again and has gone on to have 2 more DS's. Once a plan is in place things are better - I'll be keeping you in my prayers and hoping that things go well for you this time.

Kazzle, they are probably trying to be reassuring and positive but after what you've been through, of course you are going to be scared.
Good luck and I'll have everything crossed for you as well.

Good luck Kazzle, lovely to see you back here and best wishes for a healthy trouble free pregnancy.
My sister is in the same boat she is just at the stage of seeing specialists at the moment to find out why she has had 4 miscarriages, it is heartbreaking and no one can change how you feel no matter what words they say, the worry and fear will be there just how much is purely up to you.
Best wishes Kazzle.

Kazzle, I'll be watching and waiting as hard as I can for you as well. I'm hanging out for your sticky BFP day! With the keeping a secret thing, my advice would be to tell one good IRL friend so that you have a shoulder if you need it. But I definitely appreciate that you won't want everyone to know.
