on a good note we got the CDA so that's good...(and this is crossposted so more people see it)

but anyway Ethan had his bottle (as normal Pepti jr) and came out in raised red spots mostly on tummy..seemed fine though has been spilling a little more than usual..rang Rodney Ford(allergy doc) and they are ringing back today but while i was on the phone the bumps went back down..but after they closed the bumps came back..and came back a little with bottles last night..he's sleeping fine..still a bit spilly but perfectly happy.. do i take him to ordinary doc? or do i wait for Rodney and see what he says? have to add some more so its not double posting.

I would ring and make an appointment at the normal docs for late this afternoon and then you can cancel it if need be depending on what the allergy doc says.
Good luck.

I replied in the other one, but what will the normal doc be able to do other than say you need to go back to the allergy doc? I guess they can tell you if its hives or something else tho.

Coudl it just have been a little heat rash? (if you were cuddling him to give him his bottle?!?) I rang our GP in a panic when O was about 6 weeks old as he broke out in spots all over - it was baby acne and apparently very common at that age. I would talk to your GP first!

Rohann's excema can come and go a bit like that, esp if she is a bit too warm.

the excema cream is a mild one so tis ok even though steriod based! doc said looks like the aftermath of an allergic reaction....or something viral..i was like what like meningitis..he's like no....sounds like the right thing is neocate and to see what happens from there..*sigh* oh well.. just weird it happened after a month!

Thats the same as what Lauren was perscribed for her exzema. Only use it quite sparingly as its not that good for our skin! (You probably already know that anyway)!!

It does work well and clears the exzema up though!

he did say to keep an eye on the blister looking thing on his hand and only to be concerned if i saw more..maybe that could be from wiping his hand with wipes ?weird....any ideas?

yeah we will be careful i was just worried as noone else got given that they got non steriod first but he assures me its fine..
