Preggie symptoms still just as strong but at this stage HCG would be so high I guess it'd take a while for them to decrease. Still really sick.
We saw the heartbeat too :( So we know there was/is a baby there

Yeah been a bit stressed and busy lately!
Sounds bad eh but I'm scared to be hopeful! Hated the fall between being hopeful and knowing I was miscarrying last time.

Could it be that your period would have been due around this time since you are 8 weeks? I remember having this with both my pregnancies and all was well.

How incredibly stressful!!!!! I really feel for you. If it were me I'd go to an afterhours doctor and get a blood test done today to get some indication of what is going on. If you've seen a heartbeat then the risk of miscarriage goes down to about 5%, so the odds are on your side.
My fingers are crossed for good news.

I had brown discharge too at the exact same time as you (i.e. hadn't even been to see the midwife yet) but when I called her she wasn't at all concerned until the spotting got worse or changed to red.
Get DH to take Elle out for a couple of hours so you can rest a bit. I can only imagine how stressed out you would be. Sending lots of hugs your way - please let me know if I can do anything for you
