Elle has just finished a course of antibiotics and I thought she still had an ear infection as she is pale, grizzly and pulling her ear (does this when teething too). However, just have them checked and they are 100% fine. Could it be that the antibiotics themselves are making her feel yuck? What do you find with your kids?
If it's not the antibiotics then I guess we need to get the iron meds reviewed...maybe she needs a higher dose.
When was her last dose of ABs? I would suspect that they would be through her system by 48 hours. Some kids can react to different forms of ABs (my baby brother spewed all over me when I was 12 ). Does she pull at her ears when she's tired? I'd go back to the doc about the iron when she's had a clear 48 hours after last dose of ABs and still showing those signs.
What type of antibiotics did she have? And had she had them before?
When Daniel was given Amoxocilin (sp?) he reacted to that and it took him a couple of days to come right again.
She is on that one. She had them once before but I can't remember how she was...maybe similar?? I do remember going back to the doc thinking the ear was still sore so perhaps they do make her feel yuck. Thanks for helping me remember that!
