Elle has just finished a course of antibiotics and I thought she still had an ear infection as she is pale, grizzly and pulling her ear (does this when teething too). However, just have them checked and they are 100% fine. Could it be that the antibiotics themselves are making her feel yuck? What do you find with your kids?
If it's not the antibiotics then I guess we need to get the iron meds reviewed...maybe she needs a higher dose. ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |

When was her last dose of ABs? I would suspect that they would be through her system by 48 hours. Some kids can react to different forms of ABs (my baby brother spewed all over me when I was 12  ). Does she pull at her ears when she's tired? I'd go back to the doc about the iron when she's had a clear 48 hours after last dose of ABs and still showing those signs.-------------  |

What type of antibiotics did she have? And had she had them before?
When Daniel was given Amoxocilin (sp?) he reacted to that and it took him a couple of days to come right again. |

She is on that one. She had them once before but I can't remember how she was...maybe similar?? I do remember going back to the doc thinking the ear was still sore so perhaps they do make her feel yuck. Thanks for helping me remember that! ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |
