We're heading to the Hawkes Bay for Easter and am after some ideas of what to do with Mr 20 months...

There is the Haumoana Farm zoo which has farm animals, rabbits etc that they can feed (DD loved it) I think it was about $8 to get in.
If you get great weather (which I think it is meant to be on Sunday) there is a free water play area at Cornwall park in Hastings that is fun.
There is a good park on the Marine Parade in Napier that is all fenced in so they can't do too much of a runner from you.
