I use the Aveeno baby range and it's lovely! Lily has dry hands/feet/tummy and it seems to be really making them soft and nice.

Olive oil! There is a Simunovich olive oil massage blend which I found wonderful and nice being totally natural

Olive oil is brilliant. Warm it a little in your hands before applying.

Lily's skin was dry and peeled for the first month too we used the J&J Naturals range (it's in a green bottle...)
it smelt great and her skin was always nice and soft, but nothing really *fixed* it until all the skin peeled off like a sun burn kinda iygwim...

We used the same nkap9, it's fab stuff. And now she's a bit older we're using the johnsons sleep lotion with lavender, it's fantastic! We rub it on her after her bath and zzzzzzz
But we found the skin eventually flaked off anyway and had lovely new skin underneath

We used nothing lol! My midwife said that the skin needed to come off anyways and would probably disappear faster if you didn't use anything... not for everyone but worked for us

I agree with Lexiesmumma..... altho we did revert to using olive oil on a few occassions but it eventually just went away itself. It wasn't irratating her at all. Was mainly just around her ankles/tops of feet and wrists. Didn't get it anywhere else

My midwife recommended almond oil - it was really good. And baking soda in the bath.

DS had very dry crinkly feet and wrists, I just ignored it and one day I noticed it was gone. It's just a NB thing, it'll go

For cradle cap though I would just rub his head gently with his towel after a bath until he complained. It only took a few baths to be all gone.

both my boys were like little crocodiles with dry skin all over them apart from their face!
I used a bit of baby oil in each bath and that seemed to work well. It took about a week or two for it all to disapear

Koby was a week late and his skin is also really dry. The MW said just to bathe him in water, then rub some baby oil into his skin, seems to work.
