Koby was a week late and his skin is also really dry. both my boys were like little crocodiles with dry skin all over them apart from their face!
I used a bit of baby oil in each bath and that seemed to work well. DS had very dry crinkly feet and wrists, I just ignored it and one day I noticed it was gone. It's just a NB thing, it'll go

For cradle cap though I would just rub his head gently with his towel after a bath until he complained. It only took a few baths to be all gone.

My midwife recommended almond oil - it was really good. I agree with Lexiesmumma..... altho we did revert to using olive oil on a few occassions but it eventually just went away itself. It wasn't irratating her at all. Was mainly just around her ankles/tops of feet and wrists. We used nothing lol! We used the same nkap9, it's fab stuff. And now she's a bit older we're using the johnsons sleep lotion with lavender, it's fantastic! We rub it on her after her bath and zzzzzzz

Lily's skin was dry and peeled for the first month too we used the J&J Naturals range (it's in a green bottle...)
