What sort of pressure did you feel on your cervix? And where did you feel your movements and stuff?

Tonight Ive been having some major pressure on my cervix with some stabbing pains and it makes me need to wee like right away. It felt like his head/bum was right there.

I will find out tomorrow if he has turned round or not, but Ive been sititng here trying to figure out myself what way round he might be.
I can feel kicks in my sides and lots of thumping down low, but not a lot of movement up the top except the odd hard lump.

Im not looking forward to having this ECV if he is still breech..

Do you think he might be turning? Jack turned at 34 weeks and it was incredibly uncomfortable.

As for feelings, it depends what sort of breech they are. Jack was transverse (straight across pretty much with bum down low) and I used to get his bum poking up every once in a while, 1 foot on my left side (the other was tucked away) and hands on the top right part of my belly. I was told that with breech, if you look at your bump it should be bigger around the bottom part of your bump as thats where the bum is, whereas with normal pregnancies at the later stages the top part is on a sharper angle as the head sort of disappears where its supposed to go.

Only 5 weeks to go now... so exciting!

He might be(he was breech at my last appointment 2 weeks ago)...I dont really know though cos he is such a wiggle bum, but I always get this big bump that stick out heaps by my belly button, sometimes on the left soemtimes on the right, and then I'll have like sharp prods in my sides(ouch!)
My bump is actually bigger at the bottom....hmmm

Im also feeling lots of pressure in my bum not nice

Oh sheza! Has your midwife got you doing any movements or exercises to try and turn him? Hopefully tomorrow will have good news for you and he is head down for you!
I have most of my movement at the top of my belly, under my boobs.
Hope the pressure etc eases up a bit and you have a good nights sleep!

With Spencer I would get what felt like grinding pains in my pelvis and then sometimes what felt like an electric shock up the jacksy. Movements I felt everywhere. He was the type of breach where his bum was engaged and his head and feet were under my ribs, he came out sucking his toes...lol. If you press down at the top of your bump you may be able to feel the head, it will be very hard compared to anything else of the baby that you can feel.
Doing the downward dog (yoga move) gives baby more room to help them turn or just being on hands and knees if downward dog makes you feel faint.
Good luck tomorrow, hopefully he has turned and that is a head engaged.

I hear ya on the electric shock pain! Ive been getting that in my cervix quite bad tonight.
I also get a grinding feeling aswell...and the movements do feel like the are more "all over" than one or two particular spots.

Just pressed on top of bump and yep definitly something hard there

when my bub was transverse i was recommended a site called spinning babies... it has a very interesting bit on mapping where your baby is lying going by movements etc.

you might find it useful..

spinning babies

oh and the hard bit could be a bum...

Josh was breech and i had no idea he was in the perfect position and then flipped a couple of days before i had him. Poor midwife got one hell of a fright when i was fully dilated and she felt a foot she scans every woman as soon as they arrive at the hospital in labor now. So it is possible for baby to keep flipping around.

Yay the last few weeks how exciting (and uncomfy) for you. Hey you might be lucky like me and have baby 2 weeks early

Oh and after he turned i had a lot of pressure under my ribs but he was feet down pushing his head up into my rib cage (probably what caused my waters to break). Here is a pic of my belly the day i went into labor and i dont think i looked bigger low down.

I dont really have any pressure under my ribs except when the "hard bit" is pushing under them. At the moment its all squishy up by my ribs lol.
You had Josh naturally did you wrxchic? Man your a legend! lol

Deb- Im actually wondering whether he has turned tranverse cos of the weird movements Ive been getting up my sides..

heres my belly tonight-im not sure if the shape of it means anything..

Yeah he was natural but remembering it now it really didn't seem that bad it was so quick there wasnt really time to be a legend he was just coming out then and there. Then again i cant really compare his birth to one with the baby right way round as i havent experienced that so maybe next time round (provided baby is head down) im hoping it will seem like a breeze hahaha

In my (not so) professional opinion lol yours has the same shape as mine did when Jack was breech.

Although, looking again, do you think you've dropped? It kinda looks like it me from your previous pics. Hopefully Caden is just being a naughty wee boy and will turn eventually. Are you having ECV at 37 or 38 weeks? Or maybe sooner?

Had midwife today and she isnt 100% sure if he is still breech. She said she is thinking 50/50 so Im having a scan on Thursday to double check his position and if he is breech then I will have a ECV at 37 weeks I think.
