If she has a had a big 3 hour sleep then she may not be tired enough to go to bed at 6. I would try getting her up at 4pm and then put her to bed at 6pm. Keep the last hour quiet, maybe a bath/massage/cuddles/book etc.
Edited to add- awesome you are in such a good day routine

Welcome to Jungle Hour! All babies do it, usually in the evening but sometimes in the morning instead. It's totally normal for them to have a longer awake period and be unsettled at the same time each day, especially if you have a good daytime routine. My Maya used to be dynamite between 4-7pm, she fed 3 hourly like clockwork and slept beautifully all day but then in the evening she turned feral. I used to feed her at 4pm, give her a top up feed at 5.30pm then a bath and bottle and bed at 7pm but in between I pretty much had to lug her around the house with me. She grew out of it as she got older and was happy to be awake for longer.

Both of mine did it too, I'd get them up from last sleep give them a feed, let them have a play, spend a while in the bouncer with someone bouncing it, bath and then another feed and then bed.
It gets a bit better when they can stay awake for a bit longer

You'll find it will improve gradually, even a month or so from now she will be that much happier during her awake time as they learn to cope with less sleep and more awake time.

It is pretty normal unfortuantely. I would try reducing that afternoon nap though and see if that helps a bit. Maybe even just half an hour might be enough to help her settle sooner.

lol Emma beat me to it i was just about to say about jungle hour.
We found that it happened with both girls so followed the same routine the second time around, we'd give the girls a bath at about 4.30/5ish, they'd have a feed, then would settle to bed about 5 - 5.30ish this gave us a small amount of time about an hour and a half to be able to have some dinner un-interrupted, then we knew bubs would wake and that was it for a couple of hours but we were finished with dinner and were better equipped to handle it, we'd let them stay up during that time and just cuddle or lay under the playgym or whatever.
But before that routine worked, I found i'd do the main prep for dinner in the morning sleep time, so that when feral time started i knew i just had to turn the oven on, We had a front pack which we used or sometimes i'd go off for a walk with her in the buggy.
Sometimes it's better to just run with it, if you know no matter what happens she'll not go to sleep between 7 and 9pm, then don't mess with her and make her more upset, just roll with it and it will pass with less stress.

I agree with mum2paris, just go with it and it will change soon. As a Mum of a baby who usually only sleeps for 45 mins at a time during the day I say DON'T wake a sleeping baby! If Megan is happy during the evening and you can manage to get dinner cooked, eaten etc then I would suggest waiting it out.
You might find that a crockpot helps. I often use one, I put it on during Jack's morning nap or if he is happy to play quietly by himself for a while. Makes life easier at night time

My midwife had a theory that at 5.30 when Neil came home from work, Fay sensed that she was no longer the centre of my focus cos we were trying to get dinner together and talking to each other. And she used to be feral from then until about 9pm when either she or i was too knackered to keep going and one or both of us gave in and went to sleep.
We had a lot a take out and reheated meals during that time
Keep with it it does get easier around 3-4 months, when she gets used to being awake more during the day and learning that night time is for a big sleep. Fay now sleeps from 6pm - 7am (except tonight when i have only just got her down for some reason all she has wanted to do is slap my face and chest all night, weird child)

megangrace welcome to my world!! From 5pm till 8:30-9pm depending what time she goes down, I get NOTHING done! Grizzly, cluster feeding, you name it, it all happens at this time of night!
Although I must admit Lauren is starting to get better, long may it continue!!

well tonight we tried something different.
I had her up at 4:30pm (after going down at 3pm for sleep) gave her a feed at 5pm.
then at 5:30pm I had a shower and got DH to bring Megan in just as I was finishing..gave her a wash and DH tried her off and got her dressed.
just before 6pm I gave her another feed then about 6:15pm I put her into bed and read her a story she did grizzle a bit but I stroked her head and she seemed to calm down I finished off the story..gave her a kiss and cuddle put up the side of the cot and left the room.
and guess what..not a peep out of her since :) we are going to try the same thing tomorrow.
