Im even more confused now tho- she told me to introduce Aiden to dairy-even tho DD was allergic and Im a bit intollerant, but not to give him eggs til after 1, even tho we have no history of egg allergy!

this is probably because lots of dairy kids are egg allergic too...?

Yep they are cooked but the email didn't say cooked eggs are ok it said baked eggs like in a cake.

I think "if in doubt, cut it out", If you think there may be a chance the child will react to it then don't give it until after 1 or maybe give it at or near a hospital just in case.

i got Liam tested last month....and am gla di did he came up allergic to egg adn dairy... although they say they arent accurate till 1 or 2 that is because often children outgrow them hence the re testing every few months by the paed.. ..i reemember those pics my4 beauties:( scary stuff...glad he is ok..

and also 50% of children with allergies have NO family history at all:(! so i just say go slowly always with introductions and follow guidelines..

Omg m4b how terrifying!

My friends sister is allergic to egg, can only have it in baking otherwise she goes into shock and gets the whole swelling, hives etc. She had a reaction once and that was scary enough!

There are no allergies on DPs or my side of the family but already Lily is reacting to something but we don't know what. I don't eat egg, unless in baking simply because I don't like it so I doubt with Lily it is egg but it just goes to show how careful you do have to be!
