I am trying. Not much luck though. I am trying hard to wean now, only feeding very seldom, once every 2 or 3 days.
Think I will have to wean completely.
I know quite a few people who have done it successfully, but there babies were sleeping through the night, which mine isn't. He is 18 months old now.
I found out I was pregnant in December - with LMP date of 16th October - Blair was 1 on (wait for it) 15th October..... ended up weaning early January as I spent 2 nights in hospital, (hyperemesis) and had stuff all supply - was kinda mutual.
A friend of mine got really tender boobs when she found out she was pregnant whilst breastfeeding. She ended up weaning as it was sooo painful having her toddler feed.
i found out i was pregnant when henry was 8months old. I was breastfeeding on demand at the time and he was feeding every 3hours during the day (roughly) but not feeding at night. I was also on the minipill.
edited to add that i did get my period back pretty much straight away so wasnt one of those lucky people where breastfeeding kept it away for a few months
