That title was so funny.....I bet everyone was thinking the same thing when they saw it!!!!

What a huge scare that must have been, what a little rascal number 9 is! Am so glad the scan went well...take it very easy for the next few days and make DH be your slave!

Thank you all for your collective tellings-off to the kiddly - the collective wrath of half of New Zealand should help keep the little toad where he should be

I've been taking it very easy today, spending the afternoon on the couch and transferring to bed for a lovely long sleep    and although I still have cramping, I've been pretty crampy-pregnant all through, so I think I'll just take note of the severity.

I've also booked in with an OB and I'm seeing him next week - it's one of the specialists I've been seeing at F+ which is great.

Right. Back to lying horozontal. At least No. 9 seems to know he's in trouble today - he's only made me puke once!

Slighty off topic Ginger but what will happen if number 9 turns out to be a girl and we're all used to saying he? Could it cause a complex?? Will someone forget and say "he" and scar number 0 for life??

hmmmmm.

Good point because, although I've been calling him 'he' since he went back in (because I didn't want to call him 'it') ... I have the strongest sense that he *is* actually a she. The husband has been convinced he's a she since day 1 (I think because he's terrified of teenage girls, he knows it'll be his luck to end up with one! ) ... but I didn't want to seem fickle by changing my mind every 5 minutes, so until further notice (approximately 12 weeks away) she's a he even though I think he probably is a she    With me?

So glad everything is okay ginger. First I thought you were saying twins then my heart nearly stopped when I started to read. Very pleased that all is well.

LOL, my money was on twins with your hcg levels! I think that number 9 is a strong bubba with such high readings. Such great news that you have seen a healthy strong heartbeat - did they give you the heartbeat rate? I can't remember if they do that at the first scan, or the next one... that might give us an indication of sex...
Take care of yourself and number 9 - I hope he/she gives you a hassle free pregnancy from here-on-in!
