Also things to take and what other Mums have found useful when travelling with little ones.

Good idea, we're doing a trip around the SI early next year and baby specific tips as well as general info would be really helpful.

Snap - My sister and Her 2 DD's (4yo, 8mth) and I are heading there on Wednesday (weather permitting of course!)

We are heading to TePapa for sure, if you are there on the weekend they run childrens workshops, bit gutted we'll miss out on one of those...

Will let you know what else we find while there

Ha just checked the roads (we are driving) and the only road open south is SH4, stuff having to drive via New Plymouth! Just had our accomodation changed to next week when hopefully its warmer!
