Hey ladies!
So we have a lot of family coming over from the UK this year for Xmas and one of them is a 10 year old boy. I have everyone elses presents sorted but I have no idea what 10 year old boys like. It needs to be something cheap I'm trying to keep it under $20 for each child that's not my own lol. Also it needs to fit easily in his suitcase on the way home. Doesn't help that I've never met this boy and have no idea what he's into

Any ideas?

My brother is ten - here's some things he'd like
- Those schleich figurines. He likes the wild animals and knights / horses ones.
- Lego (he likes the pirate sets, but they do some nice ones with cars etc too)
- Those guns that fire rubber or foam bullets (in saying that, all my brothers like them, even my next brother down who's 25... last time I was home they had an epic war with my littlest brothers collection.... guys, huh?)
- Things that make noises (you could give my brother a bag of party poppers, and he'd think that was a brilliant present)
- Books on gross or unusual things. Like the Ripley's Believe it or Not book (although the big one's obviously going to be too expensive, but I think they make shorter cheaper ones). There's also a line of 'gross' books aimed for boys that age that he loves.

I could go on, but my lad is squeaking, I might pop back later

Yup BIL is 12 so slightly older but likes much of the same things mentioned above!

Those foam guns Nerf - Link.

Ben 10 he still likes, same with his 6yo cousin...

Computer games are good too...

You could get him gift vouchers or something?

Gorey books are always good...

Lego (especially the kinex (sp?) ones but they can be a bit $$)

My nephew is mad keen on anything to do with soccer. If he's coming from the UK, this is probably a good bet!

What about those Bop-It games? I remember the year 5 & 6's liked those last year, so same age. There's also mini versions so they'd be nice and small for a suitcase.

Bey Blades (sort of like spinning tops but have launcher and they have battles with other bey blades) - Under $20 and the size of the palm of your hand so would easily fit into a suitcase. Apparently they are cool at the moment and there's even a cartoon on about them in the mornings.
