Topic: Vasectomy reversals and success Posted: 28 October 2006 at 4:39pm |
Hi there. My husband and I are going to have a vasetcomy reversal. He is only 31 and the operation has not even been 18mths ago. Would love to chat with anyone who has been through this experience, especially if you had success and got pregnant.
Look forward to chating with you.

One of the girls in my antenatal class's husband was a bit older, with teenage children. He had a reversal,a nd she is now expecting #2. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback.
We are not going to do IVF if this doesn't work.
We have both been married before and have children from those marriages.
I have 2 boys 14yrs and 11yrs, he has a girl 6yrs and we have a 21mth old together.
We decided to get a vasectomy as we were sure we were finished. But since Tara has been getting older, I have had that urge to have just one more. So if the reversal does not work, then we will just be thankful for the ones we have and move on.
Keep the feedback coming though.

Hi there, Yes Rarotonga was wonderful. It is weird to think it has nearly been 6mths already. The kids just loved and we had a lovely time. The kids took a little time to go back to bed once we got there as we arrived at 3am. But once we all caught up on our rest,it was great. The kids only had to go out to their waists and could see lots of fish with their googles. I spent 4hrs in the beauty salon on the day of and nearly everyone we bumped into had seen our wedding on the beach. We had a lovely island night theme at the restaurant on the night of our wedding and nearly 30 of our friends and family came to see it all too.
I would definetly recommend taking your family to Rarotonga.
