Throughout my pregnancy I've been doing water aerobics for pregnant women at the Glen Innes pools and loved it. However last week the classes were canceled (after going for 18 years) due to changes at the pools but thankfully due to all the positive feedback they had from the women attending they managed to get the class reinstated and tonight we were back at the pool but to keep it going they really need more people.
I remember finding it hard to find out about these classes so thought I would post the details here for anyone interested because it's been a great way to exercise, meet other mums to be and benefit from the instruction given by qualified and experienced physios.
I'm now well overdue so tonight was my final class but I do encourage everyone to give it a go. The water is warm and the buoyancy makes you feel so good so you can do much more than you would be able to out of the water, it's very social and I always feel so relaxed and sleep so well afterwards.
Hey I am out west. Does anyone know of a simular class in the evenings? The only one our swimming pool offer are day time ones and I am not sure I can get the time off work.
