Hi all,
I need to know how much Pamol a 5 month old can have? He weighs 6.8kg. He is miserable, I think teething and I want to give him something to see if it helps.
There are two different strengths of pamol - so it would pay to check. I'd probably just ring healthline and ask them - they're really good and have helped me out with the same question in the past.
I have a chart from the doctors, and this is the info from that:
6 - 8kg for the 120mg/5ml dosage, it would be 4ml
and for the 250mg/5ml dosage, it would be 2ml
I have used both store bought and prescribed pamol, for store bought it is up to 1.6ml for a baby of that size as my son is about the same, and prescribed it is 2.5ml. So I think if you gave about 2 ml you would be safe.

Cool thanks. I rang healthline and after 30 minutes of asking me a million questions I got the answer 2ml cause I have the stronger strength one... I don't think I will be using healthline again. they can't take into account a 'mother knows what is going on'.
Thanks for your help all.
