Topic: christmas present game Posted: 03 December 2010 at 12:44pm |
i'm organising some xmas games for a family lunch on boxing day, and one of the games is like the old "throw a six, bung on a hat etc and eat a square of chocolate" except, you have to put on a santa hat, some oven gloves and a scarf, and try to unwrap a present!
Can anyone think of an object I could wrap that would be tricky to unwrap? i.e. not a book! something awkward shaped.....?

Oooo a wooden spoon- very hard with oven gloves. Or a shoe, soft toy, a ball, and odd shaped ornament that wont break easily. HTH

see I wouldve thought a book would have been hard with oven gloves because the smooth surfaces and the sticky tape and everything is flat with nowhere to get a glove in lol.
buuuuut bottles are always a little hard - especially if you sticky tape the top lol.

yeah needs to be something flat with nowhere to get in under if you get what I mean. I also think a book would be the hardest with oven gloves (provided you tape it down well).

Yeah I always found things easy to wrap the hardest to open yet things difficult to wrap are easiest to open!
You should do a calendar, totally flat.

I rekon forget the oven gloves and use duct tape!!!!!
*grin*
Or... and i had a friend we used to have wrapping competitions with, once she sent me a present that was wrapped ALL over... and she'd slit the cellotape so that you couldnt peel it off like usual, but in the smallest tiniest strips as it kept breaking. Hillarious!

That sounds like fun - we used to play that game and got the funniest pics! My idea is that anything is hard to unwrap wearing oven mits so you should go for the funniest things to unwrap for some more laughs! Underpants? A single smelly shoe?
