Does anyone elses babies recognise songs they've heard before?

My DS will turn to the TV or the radio if a certain few songs come on as if he knows them and likes them..
If he's falling asleep he'll stay awake just to listen to it. He'll stop crying to listen to it.

There's only a few songs it happens with so I was wondering if anyone elses kids are like this and if it's even possible lol or am I just making it up lol

My DS does it too!!! He used to stop what he was doing and watch the tv when the Erin Simpson show came on and watch the opening song - so funny!! He also "knows" the countdown things, when they do their wind back thing and also when the music for the news starts he'll stop. So I don't think you're making it up! haha

Lily does this too!

She likes all music and will slap her hands on the ground and stamp her feet to the beat but certain songs she gets really excited about and will wave her arms and squeal/'sing' along! So cute!

Also when ever I start singing the wheels on the bus... So they def recognise songs!!

Yip DS does this too! There are a few songs that come on C4 that he likes and that fiji ad that used to be on he like - he would turn his head and just stare at it and smile, so cute

yep. DD recognised from a young age songs. We went to wriggle and rhyme and she used to stop what she was doing instantly to clap along to the song they start with
