Haemoglobin levels

For those of you in the know... what does high concentrate haemoglobin mean in late pregnancy?

Last bloods (@28 weeks) showed ok hameoglobin but low stores so have been in iron pills... (12 so not quite anaemic but nearly) to try and try and stop it dropping any lower given how much iron is used up in the last trimester.

Last bloods (@35 weeks) showed high concentration, not sure on the stores...

I have not been taking the iron tablets every day, max 5 times a week and have been drinking rasberry leaf tea so would have thought the tannins would have affected the absorption a bit....

mw wasnt too sure what it meant (missed my appt today so she will see me tomorrow).

I hate not knowing what things mean, so is there anyone out there in the know on these things?

Thanks hun but that thread is a bit different as mine was lowish until last bloods and now is high rather than starting high iygwim.
